Because of local elections coming soon there are more social activities in Tallinn. I was asked to promote one of the electoral alliance to give a simul. It took place in Nõmme center building in the Von Glehn pub. Pariticipants were mostly old and young. It makes some hopes that the popularity of chess from the past is now popular again among youngsters. One of the participants reminded me that he was present when I gave a simul in Tallinn nearly 25 years ago. In the friendly company I won 17 games and drew one. I hope that this simul is going to be not one of the kind because of elections but as regular event.
