Each camp student will receive about 25 hours of live instruction (lectures and game analysis sessions) from top chess instructors. Students will be split into groups by rating level for most of the game analysis sessions. Games will be analyzed by GM’s and at the same time additional instructors may help and coach you personally. On Friday we also have a grandmaster simul by 5-time U.S champion Alexander Shabalov. Each student will have the chance to play in at least one GM simul. Similarly, each student will get one of his or her games analyzed every game analysis session.

Time control for the games will be 30 minutes and every day you will have two games. Tournament ends on Friday and the winner’s get ex-world champion Alexander Khalifman’s signed books and Jaan Ehlvest’s ebook. We may have more activities and side events listed in our webpage next week.

Our chess camp is almost like any other real life chess camp. We devote a majority of time to improving in chess but also have many leisure and good time practices. Work with chess will be very intense, yet still fun to take part in with an easy non-judging atmosphere. Instructors are famous world-class chess players and with years of experience in coaching other people.

Additionally, the camp gives you the chance to interact and make further connections with former world champion Alexander Khalifman and many other famous GM’s and instructors. The other important benefit of taking the online course is due to the current situation with coronavirus pandemic. Working and learning chess online is safer and as productive.
